I’m writing this post after an interview I did on national radio. I’m still surprised to see myself so calm about all the new opportunities I’ve been taking part in lately. A year ago I would probably be unmotivated enough to say ‘no’ to everything uncomfortable that came my way. You see, for years, I’ve been avoiding to talk about myself and my business publically, but this season I’ve finally decided to say ‘yes’ more often and here is why…

I want to give back to the society

After almost seven years of working online and sharing free tips with you guys digitally, I’ve been feeling the need to give back even more. Finally saying yes to more interviews, providing quick free consultations and generously answering the messages my audience sends helps me feel like I have a purpose and it enrichens me in more ways I could have ever imagined.

It helps me to challenge myself in the new ways

Once you spend years working in one field and completing similar tasks every single day it can be hard to find new ways to improve your skills and knowledge. Therefore, saying ‘yes; to the opportunities other people bring my way allows me to challenge myself in the new ways. I’m not gonna lie to you- trying something new is a bit scary for me as I’ve been drowning myself in the comfort zone I’ve built around myself and my business for way too long, but sometimes doing things through whose you find yourself in the uncommon situation can help you take that much-needed leap to the new page of your story.

It helps me meet new people & hear their stories

Another thing that came with new challenges is all the beautiful people I get to meet in this new journey. I absolutely love and admire the people that supported me since the early beginning too, but new stories & new points of view that come from making fresh connections actually challenged me to explore my creativity and helped me to improve my social skills in general. There are so many beautiful, interesting people out there & I’m beyond excited to let them in.

I’m beyond excited about this new season in my life and as much as I love spending time between the four walls in my pajamas, I feel such a positive influence from all the opportunities I was brave & smart enough to say ‘yes’ to.
