Oh my, oh my. I can’t believe it’s Monday! Easter really got me off the track, but I’m back! Let’s catch up! Here are some of the things that went on this week →
On the blog this week:
001: WALKIES WITH #MONKISTYLE
Monki is definitely my go-to brand when it comes to casual wear. I got a few of their SS16 dresses and they’re saving my life daily. Those beauties go with everything, trust me!
001: FREE WordPress.com to WordPress.org migration services
If I tell you that you can move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org with no effort at all and no extra fees, you’d probably think I’m crazy. Well, I am. I can’t deny that, but I found the perfect way for you all to move to self-hosted WordPress and start using all those awesome benefits it has to offer.
002: How to Add a “Back To Top” Button to Your Blog? Blogger & WordPress Tutorial
I know you want your readers to sink into your content. For this reason, you might consider having quite a few posts displayed on one page. However, if you keep your site navigation as well as social media buttons next to your header, you will want to make the process of getting back to the top as easy as possible.
Something to remember:
001: STORYTIME: GETTING THE PUPPY
You might have seen a bunch of pictures on my Instagram of this little ball of cuteness we call Francis. He’s really my biggest joy and I’d love to start sharing some more personal stories from my life with you all.
002: 10 THINGS I DO EVERY DAY TO GROW MY BLOG + BIZ ( + FREE CHECKLIST )
Running a blog + business is a constant work. I have a huge checklist of things I do daily in order to grow Kotryna Bass Blog + Design and during the years I figured out what I need to focus on every single day.
003: 10 TIME-SAVING HACKS FOR BUSY SOLOPRENEURS
As a business owner, I always struggle to manage my personal life and workload. I’m a boss and an employee to myself. Therefore most of the days, I have to force myself stop working and go to bed hoping for that one extra hour of work. If you’re solopreneur like me- you probably don’t have that many hours to spare too. So I’ve rounded up some tips that we could all use to get that extra hour or two in a day.
Things I love:
001: CODE ACADEMY
I’m currently trying to challenge myself to start developing more complicated websites & designs and Code Academy courses help me a lot to learn new things & improve!
002: 9 PODCASTS FOR BLOGGERS
Podcasting has recently become a wildly popular new form of media. Nadine collected a bunch of links for us all with some of the best podcasts out there.
003: HOMEMADE GINGER LEMONADE
I’m always in look for a new mixer and some homemade lemonade is usually a winner when it comes to whiskey or bourbon drinks. Trust me, there’s nothing better than refreshing lemons + spicy ginger flavours with a kick, poured over ice in a tall glass!
002: POLISHED AVENUE Polished Avenue is your one-stop destination to helping you achieve a polished lifestyle. If you’re wondering what theme is this blog built on- it’s our WordPress Theme Satine.
003: THE TINY CLOSET
This blog is such an inspiration to me with the best style ideas & photography. Natalie is using Umea Blogger Template if you’re wondering!
Personal:
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I spend mine surrounded by family & friends and it was wonderful. I’d prefer to have a few days off know tho, haha!
I know this blog was a bit silent in the past week, but I hope my tutorials page compensates the lack of posts. My goal is to keep posting daily tutorials on my website and still keep up with 3-4 quality posts every week here on kotrynabass.com. Wish me luck!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Don’t forget to show some love to bloggers I got to work with recently. I feel very honoured being able to help so many of you! Give me a shout if you’d love to hire me on building your blog + branding.
