Running an online business, blogging, improving my skills & still trying to have a personal life can get pretty tough. I won’t pretend to be a desperate workaholic & will admit that getting my 8 hours of sleep is more important to me than publishing that Instagram snap on time. Lucky me, I don’t have to wake up at those best-estimated publishing times in order to keep growing my blog + biz. With the right tools, managing a number of social media accounts & keeping my posts consistent can be pretty easy!
What I do is dedicate one day a week simply for scheduling. Usually, I do this on Sunday after a long breakfast while sinking into another Netflix marathon. Scheduling your social media & blog is pretty mechanic yet it can benefit your life without a doubt.
Here are 5 tools for better blog scheduling that I swear by:
I only started using Buffer a couple of weeks ago & I’m not looking anywhere else for better Twitter handling tool. It allows you to post pictures with your posts which already made a huge impact on the traffic I get from my tweets. It can look a bit limited if you’re on a free plan, but it’s really worth paying a few extra pounds for the premium pack, trust me!
Tailwind is a simply brilliant Pinterest tool. It allows you to schedule your pins ahead by uploading them from your computer or you can even use Instagram for pinning those cute moments from your feed! I believe that Pinterest can bring tonnes of traffic to your blog + biz, but in order to take the most out of it, your pins have to be consistent & you have to pin A LOT! Save endless hours in front of your computer & simply schedule a bunch of images in one go.
If you’re looking for a better tool to schedule your actual blog posts, you must look into using CoSchedule. Not only it allows you to see all your scheduled posts at a glance in a calendar, it also lets you schedule the social media promos alongside the new post!
Did you ever find yourself in a situation where you took just way too many Instagram worth pictures & can’t stop yourself from posting them in one go? When this happens again- stop and take a deep breath! Your followers don’t need to be bombarded by similar shots every 5 minutes. Simply open Latergram app and schedule some entries for the upcoming weeks. You can thank me on those dry days when you have nothing to post!
I’ve been using Hootsuite for ages and it’s so simple to use I just had to mention it in this post. Even though I don’t schedule a lot of facebook posts, I believe Hootsuite would be the best tool if you’re trying to grow your Facebook audience. It also allows you to schedule simplified entries for Twitter & Instagram too, so you can really use it for all & save some time for those tasks you have been postponing for ages!
Hope you guys found this post useful. I share daily blogging tips on my Pinterest board here →.
