Self-sabotage involves various behaviors or thoughts that keep you away from what you desire most in life. I see this all the time – aspiring business owners are self-sabotage their personal business growth without even knowing it. Could this be you? Let’s find out!
Self-sabotaging might not feel like something disruptive at first.
It can start with that inner voice saying “you can’t do this”. It’s a thought, you might think, it’s harmless.
Yet little by little you start doubting yourself. Your ability to grow big and reach beyond your potential.
I see this all the time – awesome online creators choosing to work for other brands instead of really going all in and scaling in their own business.
Here are three things you should stop doing right now in order to save your business from your own harm.
#1 Being afraid of a change. Change is great. It’s scary, but it’s great. Change is inevitable. You would get nowhere without change. Accept this and move on. There’s absolutely no point in being afraid of a change. Change happens. Embrace it. Own it. Even be the first one to really push for it within your business. A business that’s not moving forward is not a type of business you should aim to build.
#2 You’re a one person band. You need other people on your team. Period. Not expanding your team is a huge loss. You need to be the one focussing on a bigger picture and you can’t do it if your calendar is filled with those day-to-day tasks.
#3 Saying “I can’t.” Stop saying this right now. You can and you will. Take every “I can’t” as an opportunity to learn and improve. This is the only way to grow. See yourself as a winner and stop lowering yourself in public. For others to believe in you and in your business, you need to start believing in yourself first.
