If you guys follow me on Instagram, you will probably already know about my recent trip to France. I, the boy and a few of our closest friends spent a wonderful week up in the mountains- skiing, catching up on our lives & enjoying some local wine. It was perfect.

We arrived in Les Coches mountain village late on Sunday. I showered, had a little catch-up session with friends I haven’t seen in ages & went straight to bed.

The following day we all went to have a little stroll around town, get our ski passes & rentals sorted as well as check out some local pubs & shops. I even got to take some #ootd pics. This chunky cardigan from The Knotty Ones was a real life saver. Oh, and it’s so cute.

If you ever went on a skiing break, you will know that there isn’t much you’re planning to do up in the mountains except, well… skiing! And that’s exacly what we did.

I was so excited to master skiing this year! Last time we’ve visited the Alps, I spent most of my time having breakdowns & panicking about the heights. I was so glad it wasn’t the case this year! I’m in no ways a pro skier just yet, but I’m improving every season. Little by little. You know what they say: If at first you don’t succeed, Try, try, try again. I can finally understand why people get obsessed with the mountains. Not only the view is always magnificent- you also get to forget about your daily routine completely. And don’t even get me started on the quality of sleep you get after spending the whole day in the fresh air…

Just looking at the pictures I feel like I’m going to miss waking up to the view of this snowy Neverland… I hope to see you next year, Alps!
