Howdy, folks! What a beautiful day it is! I love Sunny & productive Mondays. Writing my weekly round-ups is my favourite thing to do & I’m so excited to share what’s been going on this week. Let’s catch up now →
September is just around a corner & you need to re-launch your blog with a bang. Trust me on this. If you’re still blogging on wordpress.com, you’re seriously holding yourself back, friend. Going self-hosted is a way to go if you’re taking your blog seriously & it can be done in less than an afternoon.
By going self-hosted not only you will improve your SEO rate, but you will also have complete control over your content & so much freedom design + development wise. You have no excuses now, just go for it!
p.s. I’m always here to help you out with anything blog design related, so just get in touch!
THINGS I LOVE:
This week was all about dreaming and what I love the most when I feel like I need some extra inspiration is wandering around my favourite websites looking for some interior ideas. Freunde Von Freunden gets me every time and their interview with architect Simon Astridge is so up my street! I absolutely love his style & approach towards home space & I wish one day to create something similar for my family.
Let me know which one is your favourite! Next week, I plan on sharing som of the custom projects I’ve been recently working on.
PERSONAL:
We had a few friends staying this us an last week, and it was a nice change in our usual routine as we got to wind off in the middle of the week. Of course, we then spent Friday & Saturday catching up with some client work before spending the rest of the weekend at the lake house with my family. It was so fun to see everyone I haven’t seen in ages & catch up.
Summer down here decided to come back for the last weeks of autumn, and we got to enjoy some proper sunbathing & swimming. I hope this sticks around for at least a couple of weeks before we get into that end of summer sadness. Although, I’m pretty much looking forward to all of those autumn outfits!
I also just started watching The Get Down and Oh my boy! I seriously love it. I wasn’t expecting for it to be that entertaining, but it’s worth every single compliment it receives! It’s so inspiring to see a bunch of young, talented actors doing amazing work. It makes me feel proud of our generation. Ok, ok, I might be a bit older than those folks, but I’d seriously like to join their group, haha! Let me know if anyone is a fan out there!
OOTD:
I got this dress ages ago and it’s still my top pick for the hot summer days, I paired it with my vintage denim jacket & minimal Vagabond sandals. There’s nothing comfier you can wear on the early summer mornings.
Shop the look:
Hope you enjoyed this post, folks!
Let me know what you are thriving for this week!
