I feel like we go through life thinking way too much about the future and not really dedicating any time to feel grateful for things that we already have. For this reason, I decided to start sharing monthly gratitude blog series. Through these series, you’ll also be able to get to know a bit more about my life and behind the scenes of this blog. I want to be open about my journey instead of only focussing on the completed projects. Shall we get down to it then?
November has been a great month, so much stuff has happened & I truly feel like it was a turning month for me. It really shaped up my plans for the new year & I’ve already got very excited about our plans for 2018! Anyway, let’s look back for a moment and see what I’ve felt grateful for this November:
• Collaborating with Ecolines on our trip to Warsaw. It was really memorable weekend & I’m so glad to be able to work with great travel companies for my blog posts!
• My family. For those who didn’t know, we’ve got to live back at my parents’ home for a few weeks before moving and not only they were extremely respectful about all the mess we’ve made, it was also nice to have some proper family time for once!
• Moving to Nida. It’s really is the best decision ever. The peace I feel in this place amazes me daily & I can not wait to spend next five months in this beautiful place.
• Sunny days. The weather was pretty awesome down here for the most part of November and we’ve got to experience some of the most beautiful sunsets ever!
• Spending a few wonderful days in Berlin with the boy. We really needed some time for just the two of us after all the things we went through in the last couple of months. Also, it was such a pleasure to work with Visit Berlin team on this trip!
• Black Friday Weekend. And no, I didn’t buy ANYTHING for myself, can you believe it?! Ok, ok I might have booked a few online courses, but that counts as business expenses, right? Yet during this week, we had the most amazing time helping all of you guys build awesome blogs & I feel so happy to see so many new faces on our clients’ list!
• Staying active. We started taking weekly hikes & jogging a couple of times a week, I also wish to start doing yoga in the mornings again & just finding time for taking care of my body makes me feel so much better.
• Completing all of the Christmas shopping before December. Yepp, we did it! I really wanted to have some relaxed time prior Christmas instead of focussing on getting all of the presents sorted & after a long afternoon spent shopping online, I have my list sorted!
• Finally finding time to read “Braving the Wilderness“, this book really challenges what we think we know about cultivating true belonging in our communities, organizations, and culture. Perfect for everyone out there feeling a bit lost.
• Tomas should be on top of this list tho. He was so amazing this month, not only with sorting out all of the moving errands but also with planning new things for our business & personal life. I couldn’t be more grateful to have this guy in my life right now!
