you know, everyone told me it’s going to be so much easier after I’m done with my uni work. What they didn’t know was that it doesn’t really apply at all to my daily life! since the day I handed in my dissertations I’ve been working daily, catching up on so much stuff I missed and planning things constantly. after a bit of a fun this weekend I finally found some time to sit down and write down some points I’d like to bring to this blog. I noticed that due to my work load everything has been out of order here and thus what I needed was to actually take some time and make lists/get back to all the companies and bloggers I promised to work with and update all of you guys with what’s been going on. Thus for today, I put a bit of a mash-up post with a bit of everything from my life:
wearing:
Finally it’s warm enough to go out without a jacket, but living by the sea means you always need to have an extra layer. Wind here never stops even for a little, but I’m used to that. I’m not sure how appropriate it is to wear flannel shirts in spring/summer season, but if you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you probably know that I don’t enjoy to play by the rules too much. Thus, lately I’ve been all about sneakers (wearing: vans), ripped jeans (wearing: zara), loose tops (wearing: primark) layered with a boyfriend type flannel shirt (wearing: sammydress).
my obsession for Asian food came back big time, I’ve been all about Japanese and Chinese food lately and ate so many takeaways that I gave up and stopped counting. This definitely has something to do with the construction work going on in our living room and kitchen. Cooking doesn’t seem as much fun these days, but I bet once it’s all finished- I am going to be back with some tasty experiments and hopefully some new recipes!
trying out:
I tend to use much less make up during the warm days, so I don’t have much to show you this month, but here are few items I’m really excited to use these days.
1. REALASH EYELASH ENHACER– this item apparently is tend to make your eyelashes longer and thicker. I haven’t actually tried it yet, so I am going to share a ‘before’ picture here and will update you on the progress later on in my beauty favourites post!
2. KATE MOSS LIPSTICK IN COLOR 107– I’ve been loving this colour lately and been wearing it pretty much on all of my nights out. I love how moisturising these lipticks are, but still bring a nice looking matte effect my look.
3. SEVENTEEN Skin WOW Primer– I absolutely inlove with this product! To be honest with you all I didn’t have much experience with the highlighters, so it might be just a newbie talking in me, but I love how fresh and glowing my face looks after using it. and you only need just a tiny bit of it, so I bet this will last me for ages!
4.Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation– it’s been over 20 degrees here lately (despite these last couple of days), so I wasn’t really keen on using any proper, heavy foundation. I got this Bourjois one as I liked how ’10 hours sleep effect’ sounds. It’s actually pretty great foundation, guys! maybe it doesn’t give you the best coverage, but it’s light, has a great colour and also smells amazing! all you need for the summer time, right?
