Happy Monday, friends! Hope you had the cosiest weekend. Lately, I’ve been so obsessed with sharing my knowledge about blogging + biz . Teaching the secrets of building a successful online presence is what makes me feel like my work has a purpose & true impact on people’s life. However as much as I love educational topics, I realised that I’ve been missing writing posts on more personal matters. Thus, I hope you won’t mind if I dedicate my Monday’s posts for personal growth since now on as I believe I can share a story or two from my own experience that will help you to achieve your goals even faster.
For today, I just want to open up on one of the most important topics to me lately- learning to let things go.

Let me begin by telling you that my mum is the strongest women I’ve ever met. She’s been THE most inspiring role model to me while growing up. Not only my mum is a proud parent of four, but she’s also a successful career woman. Not surprisingly, she is the main reason why I’ve always wanted to go for things & achieve my dreams so passionately. I’ve also learned the most powerful life lesson through her- the importance of letting things go.
As a kid, I was never allowed to be a victim.
Don’t get me wrong, my parents loved me to bits, but growing with three other kids in the family meant that I had to be independent & learn to care for myself. Since the early age, I was brought up to deal with my problems & don’t let them annoy me for far too long. This doesn’t mean that I’m now trying to hide my feeling or that I never go through moments of sorrow. I do & I believe it’s healthy to have sad-party every once in a while, but I always remember to pick myself up the next day & at least try to move forward. It might be hard at first, but I’d hate for my failures to define me. If you’re currently struggling with something that bothers you too much, here are some tips + tricks that hopefully can help you to ease the process of letting go.
To improve anything in your life, you first have to truly, deeply desire the change to happen. Things won’t disappear on their own. We have to go ahead & make a decision not to live with the things that bother us anymore. The thing is, by promising ourselves to at least try to end this unfortunate cycle, we also prove that we have the real capability to change things for our own good. This is a compelling thing, my friend. Empowering yourself to feel like you can turn things around might just be what you need right now. Admit that you have a problem & make a conscious decision to get rid of it. Setting the right set of mind is the most important step you must learn to take.
Look, it’s OK to admit that things didn’t go according to your plan. You can always make a new plan. Take a deep breath, relax & get ready to start from scratch. I’m not religious, but I do believe in faith & if I fail at my original plan, I remind myself that it probably just wasn’t meant to happen in the first place. Don’t rush yourself to heal too quickly, but keep the positive thoughts in mind. It’s all going to work out & deep down you really know that.
It’s so easy to feel like a victim when things seem to be failing you. Blaming other people or unfortunate circumstances makes you feel like you’re a winner in this condition, but it doesn’t allow you to move on. Whenever you blame someone (or something) for the situation you’re in- the further you push yourself away from letting it go. You’re only wasting your energy and time on the things that don’t even matter anymore. Whatever happened- the blame won’t cure you & it won’t make you feel good again, so stop it. Now.
Reliving your past is not helpful. Going through all the steps that led you to the current condition won’t help you to move on. Go ahead & make a list of all activities that can encourage you to take the next steps to the better future. Focus on making the next day better than today & you’ll see how quickly you will get to the point where your past doesn’t affect you anymore. Remember:
A Year from Now You Will Wish You Had Started Today.
