I’m probably the most naturally disorganised person you would ever meet. I am too emotional and forgetful to remember and keep in charge of all the little things in my life. For this reason, I must actually work on my organisational skills A LOT. I write EVERYTHING down and do it constantly. I have a to-do list for my blog, for my website, for my days, weeks, year, even for my future.

Tho it’s not only the actual writing things down what makes a difference, it’s HOW you plan your tasks. You can make the biggest list in the world, but it doesn’t particularly mean that you’re going to finish it, right?
Here are some of the ways I follow in order to plan my blog & business tasks effectively:
Being in charge of your life starts with being in charge of your day. I start every morning with making a list hour-by-hour of what am I supposed to do that day. I already blogged about my day in a life as a blogger where I shared my daily routine, so that’s pretty much what I follow to stay on track. Of course, some days have different tasks or I might have a meeting at some point during the day, so I work around my schedule to make it most time efficient for that particular day. This also helps me to include my time for friends & family, my workouts or date plans!
As soon as I’m ready to start my work on the day, I go through my emails or notes and make a list of all the things I have to do that day. I list all of the tiny and big things & then decide which ones must be done first. By doing this I can see my workload and don’t get distracted that much. Be smart. You can’t-do it all even if you think you can. Of course, you must try as hard as you can. However, from my experience, it’s better to do less, but work better, than to do it all, but one-handed. Once you start your business or blog, it might look like a great idea to take every single client you have, but don’t forget- your customers ARE important. Every single one of them. Make sure you can actually dedicate some quality time to them before committing.
Trust me on this, if you really want to be successful in planning, you will have to do it every single day. Make your daily plans, your weekly plans, your yearly plans, whatever what works best for you, it will change your life and you will finally start to be in charge! How do I know? Well, I just got back from holidays where I left my notebook behind and my life is currently a mess…

Have you ever made excuses for not working out, not eating healthy or not finding enough time to read? Well, I definitely did! Whatever you say, it’s not really a matter of not having enough time, it’s a matter of poor time management. Make sure you include all of those things you want to do into your daily planner too. Decide what you’re going to have for dinner before the evening actually comes. Dedicate specific hour for your workouts and don’t forget to include a couple of hours for your beloved one! It seems like we shouldn’t be planning these things, but if you’re one busy bee- it doesn’t hurt to slow yourself down for something not work related.
As easy as it sounds, make sure you completed all of the tasks from your list before going to bed. If you’re being realistic and you only list the manageable things you should be able to complete the full list before the day ends. If you haven’t- well maybe that Netflix marathon can be postponed until tomorrow?
