You guys know that we move a lot. In fact, in the last 8 years, I switched over 11 places and well, to say the least, this type of lifestyle doesn’t require to make huge investments in home interior. What I do care about tho, is a functional & creative workplace that allows me to perform my tasks in full motivation. If you are wondering how to create an inspiring workplace on a budget, let me share some ideas with you all!
Get As Much Light As Possible
This doesn’t require you to invest any money at all. Simply re-consider your space and make sure to place your desk close to the window. Trust me, natural light directly affects your productivity and you should really aim to make your office space as bright as possible.
Find The Desk That Works For You
No matter what you choose- just find whatever fits your needs. I personally love this DIY that Tomas has constructed for us. Not only it is big enough, it is so easy to move around! I can even take this outside if I have one of those days where I want to do some work outside perhaps! It really is just perfect for our needs. You might be different tho, so a smaller table or a standing desk would be just what you’re looking for!
Get An External Display
If you don’t have a desktop computer and are only using the laptop for your work, consider getting an external display. These do not have to cost much, but they are the real game changers. Seriously, I can do so much more when I work using mine as I can open a few different pages in one go, work on my blog pictures & texts in the same go etc.

Get Comfortable
You need to feel great in your workplace. Enough desk space, as well as a comfortable chair, can really make your days way more productive. It’s hard to keep yourself feel motivated when your back hurts or you have five coffee cups next to your keyboard. Invest into a comfy chair and try to keep your office clean at all times. It doesn’t have a long time, but it makes a huge difference. Whatever you do- just make it work FOR YOU. You will spend brainstorming your top ideas here, so make sure to make it as homey as you need!
