Hope you had the best NYE ever, friends! I run away from the city with a bunch of friends & we had the best weekend ever sharing stories from 2016 & making plans for the upcoming year. I feel refreshed & ready to go now. I have the best feeling about 2017, let me share some memories & goals with you all.

Goodbye, 2016

2016 was splendid. It was the year I got engaged to the love of my life & I’m so ready to spend the rest of my life with this fella. He is the most loving person I’ve ever met & everything I do is only possible because of his unlimited support. I also worked my ass off & it ended up being the biggest year for my business so far. I’m not planning to stop here tho. My planner is already filled with new ideas & I cannot wait to bring those to life in 2017. However, 2016 has also taught me the importance of taking a step back when needed. Constant hustling makes zero sense if you leave your loved ones behind & can’t find enough time to check in with yourself. Thus, I dedicate 2017 for making my dreams come true without losing a healthy balance. I’m seriously ready to become the best version of myself this time.

2017 Goals for My Blog + Business

This spring marks four years when I first started working on my blog and design shop. I love seeing how my business keeps growing every year & I challenge myself to reach even higher. Here are some things I would love to achieve in 2017:

• introduce at least three new products or services
• grow affiliate earnings
• create new social media strategy for each platform
• bring e-commerce WordPress templates to Kotryna Bass Design
• prepare monthly newsletter campaigns
• schedule weekly shoots for blog + Instagram
• create a solid work routine
• hire a virtual assistant to take some load off my shoulders
• work on guest blogging opportunities
• double monthly pageviews

2017 Personal Goals

I believe that setting personal goals for yourself is crucial and equally beneficial for your career. I’m my greatest enemy and I dedicate this year for getting rid of my annoying habits & seriously embracing my best side. This, this year I promise to:

• develop a strict sleeping schedule
• 100% ban technologies before bed
• read at least three books every month
• get into the habit or listening to audio books
• be active. go on hikes, cycle, go swimming weekly, take Francis on long walks & get as close to nature as possible
• never work later than 8 pm
• have weekly date nights with the boy
• visit more exhibitions, live music events + conferences
• go on more road trips
• be present
