ON THE BLOG:

This week here on kotrynabass.com was a big one! I’ve been planning to launch an e-book for quite a while now, and it’s finally here! It’s mostly orientated towards bloggers that are just starting out, but I believe even the established online entrepreneurs can learn a thing or two by reading my top insights on starting & growing your first blog!

THINGS I LOVE:

My all-time favourite web-hosting company Bluehost is having a 4th of July sale for all of their US-based customers, and you should definitely take advantage of this! Their customer service is simply THE BEST and they also provide FREE WordPress.com to WordPress.org transfers which takes so much work off your shoulders!

More & more creatives are moving their blogs to self-hosted WordPress.org and taking complete control over their content. I’ve been using different hosting services for over four years now as a blogger and blog designer. I even wrote a review on some of the most used web-hosts and Bluehost wins in every category!

This week I also joined  FREE Instagram Authority E-Course hosted by Alex, and it’s already shaken my mind a bit. I absolutely love her teaching style, and you also get to join a secret Facebook group of creative entrepreneurs and Instagram builders! I’m bringing up my Q2 income + business report later on this week, and I can’t wait to share my Instagram journey this far.

CLIENT LOVE:

I had a great time working with bloggers this week. Not only I moved towards completing some of the more custom designs, but I also updated some excellent blogs with my premade Blogger & WordPress themes.

Blog by Mari-Liis Suvi is amazing Estonian blogger now using our “Florentins” Blogger template and absolutely rocking it! I love how this clean, minimal design goes perfectly with her stylish fashion & lifestyle posts.

One of my favourite clients now using “Leica Moments” Blogger Template is definitely Anne Marthe Photography. Her skills are amazing, and I feel very proud to see one of my designs branding her unique online space.

I also feel very impressed to see how Kirstyn Dubar adapted our “Satine” Blogger Template to match her blog & branding. Go ahead and show here lots & lots of love!

PERSONAL:

I had the best weekend ever at the music festival spending some proper time with friends. I got back full of positive vibes and ready to catch up with loads of work.

I also decided to stop postponing things and take charge of my health, so first thing tomorrow morning I have an appointment at the doctors to run some tests and make sure everything is in order. I believe it’s important to have occasional check-ups just as it’s important to eat healthily and be active.

We will be taking things slow for the next couple of weeks as the beginning of summer was pretty intense. I’ve been away from home for the last four weekends. Even I consider myself to have a gipsy soul, I kind of started to miss those slow Sunday mornings in the city.

This week on the blog I will be sharing my Q2 blog + business report with you all and I’m very excited myself to see the change in numbers and review my growth so far. Catch up with the report I did on Q1 to see the difference for yourself. Don’t forget to come back this Wednesday for an update!
