I’m back, friends! I’m so glad to be sitting here in my office once again, typing my weekly round-up into a post editor. As always, taking a break reminded me so well why I love blogging this much. I seriously missed you guys!
ON THE BLOG:
After a bit of a downtime, I finally opened up about my ways to deal with a creative block. Last week I had a severe burnout. I was travelling, spending time with my loved ones & I seriously simply didn’t feel like blogging. I haven’t felt this way in YEARS. I just knew- the time has come to restore my mind in order to keep going. In this post, I collected some of my top tips + tricks for recharging your creative mind & I hope you guys got inspired.
THINGS I LOVE:
I had so much fun time back to work & finally got to frame prints in my studio to make it even cosier for autumn.
I also got to try new goods from L’occitane this week & was so surprised by the amazing natural scents and quality of the products. L’occitane is probably one of my most favourite beauty brands & their new Aromachologie range is definitely worth your attention!
I’m no different than you all, guys. I actually spent all Sunday afternoon catching up with the last episodes of The Stranger Things. I know y’all been watching it too. How great is Millie Bobby Brown, huh? I’m absolutely inspired by this young lady and she actually reminds me of a young Natalie Portman. Am I the only one out there who feels this way? Let me know if you agree & what’s your favourite character from the show!
I’m also working on a reading list for the fall. I simply cannot wait for Sophia’s new book Nasty Galaxy to hit the shelves. It’s coming out on the 4th of October & this calls for a perfect early B-Day present for me!
CLIENT LOVE:
This week was so exciting for Kotryna Bass Design. Not only we got to work with so many talented bloggers in setting up their premade blog designs, we also launched a new blog for Samantha Maria. She got in touch a couple of weeks ago as she was ready to take her blog to a new level & finally move it from Blogger to WordPress. I’m so thrilled to see the way this turned out. Her new blog design & the layout itself is way more professional as well as our grid-style categories integration makes it super easy to look through the archives & find some of her best outfits + stories.
If any of you guys are thinking of taking a step forward- feel free to get in touch to discuss how can I help you out with the whole process & take the load off your shoulders!
PERSONAL:
I’m focused more than ever these days, folks. As everyone around me seems to be falling into a summertime sadness, I actually feel very excited about the fall!
As much as I love having all the freedom I want as a freelancer, there’s something special about the routine & structure I get into during the colder seasons. I enjoy experimenting with a new work for my business, blogging more than ever, having my favourite pizza Sundays & visiting my favourite spots in town.
I feel very lucky to live in the country that has full 4 seasons & I try to enjoy every single one of them to the fullest.
This week, I hope to surprise you all with some very useful information on taking your blogs to a new level and talk more about my love for self-hosted WordPress platform. After seeing how happy Sammi was about her move- I realised that there might be some of you out there, thinking about the change, but not knowing where to start. Don’t worry & come back on Wednesday to get step-by-step guidance on the process!
OOTD:
Cosy knits & floppy hats are what I look forward to during the rainy days. I enjoy pairing them with my favourite pair of jeans while on a coffee run.
Shop the look:
Hope you enjoyed this post, folks!
Let me know what you are thriving for this week!
