I’m the kind of person that go through phases in everything! I used to be all about english breakfast for a while, when it turned into avocado toasts and green smoothies. However with a new season I felt a need of a change in my morning routine. I already started doing some cardio work outs as soon as I wake up and a filling smoothie after is the best motivation!
What you will need:
•some of your favourite frozen berries (I used cranberries!)
•1 banana
•some oats
•chia seeds
•honey
•a glass kefir. for those who are not too familiar: kefir is a unique cultured dairy product that is one of the most probiotic rich foods on the planet and has incredible medicinal benefits for healing issues like leaky gut. Its unique name comes from the Turkish work “keif”, which means “good feeling”.
How to prepare? Well, just throw everything in a jar and blend! Blend it well and sweeten with some honey if needed. If you used some sweeter berries- you can squeeze in some fresh lemon juice for an extra kick!
Here you go, it’s super easy to make and is great for getting that morning boost! Let me know if you give this a go, folks!
What’s your favourite breakfast food at the moment?
