Not only it’s one of the most trending Social Media outlets these days, but it can also be a great tool to bring more visitors to your blog or website. Currently, Instagram is one of my biggest sources of referral traffic & I’m beyond excited to share some of my secrets with you. Here are 5 ways that will help you get more traffic from your Instagram account.

Include an Invitation to Your Profile

This one is so obvious but really helpful. Go ahead and include a link straight to your Instagram’s profile. Don’t forget you can include an engaging description above it. I personally invite my followers to click on my link as they can get some awesome free resources from it, take a look:

Promote Your Posts + Products On Instagram

Whenever you publish a new post, use Instagram for promoting it! As soon as I have new content up on my blog, I will go ahead & include a short invitation with a snap from it on my Instagram, it works like a charm.

Use hashtags

Using relative hashtags under your caption can help you so much to reach the relevant audiences. If you’re wondering what hashtags I mostly use in my posts, check out this post & download free hashtags cheatsheet.

Include Clear Call To Actions

Be simple. You have to tell your readers what you want them to do. Simply include a clear call to action into your captions such as ‘head over to my blog & download my latest freebie’ or ‘visit my website & get your new cosy jumper’. Of course, make sure to post personal, non-pushy content way more often than your promo posts. It’s all about finding the right balance.

Share Previews

If you want your followers to be keen on visiting your blog- include previews instead of a full on pictures from your post. For example, if you’re posting a new outfit, show only some deets from it and invite your followers to see the rest on your blog. Be creative, write down your captions in your notebook and see which ones catch the most attention.
