Recently, I’ve been trying to be a bit more transparent on my blog and I tend to get quite a lot of personal questions in my DMs. Thus, I decided to spill the beans for you and share ten random facts you probably didn’t know about me yet.

1. I’m the second one in the family of four children. I have an older brother, younger brother and a little sister!

2. I was born and raised in Kaunas which is the second biggest city in Lithuania.

3. I’ve lived in London for a year before moving to Brighton for my studies where I lived until 2014 when I graduated in BA Media Studies. In 2012 I’ve also spent a semester in Amsterdam, NL. That’s where I’ve started kotrynabass.com & blog design website! I couldn’t be any happier about my decision to start a blog while still at university, if you’re also considering starting a blog of your own, make sure to check out this post.

4. When I was 16, I’ve shaved my head & I think it looked pretty awesome. My mom didn’t feel the same way tho, haha. Although I did have piercings and made very questionable clothing choices even before that, so I guess, she was already used to me going a bit crazy.

5. I’ve started my first “online business” at the age of 18 where I was selling pre-written speeches for public speaking classes to other high-school students. I event went to travel around Portugal out of the money I’ve made from it, so I guess you can call it successful!

6. I can’t sleep on my back.  I never had trouble sleeping even when I’m stressed out or in fact, there can be construction work going on in my bedroom and I’d be fine to take a nap there. However, when it comes to sleeping positions- I can only fell asleep on my stomach!

7. I’m one of those freaks, extremely obsessed with crime documentaries. If I were to choose a study program right now, I would highly consider going into criminology. Yep, I’m THAT interested.

8. I always thought I’m not a morning person, but it all changed since I’ve started working for myself. Now, I become grumpy and cannot concentrate if I sleep in and wake up around noon. I enjoy my slow morning routine and get way more done if I wake up at least before 8 am.

9. My fiance Tomas and I move A LOT. In fact, our current apartment is the 11th place we’ve lived in during eight years together. Well, at least we’re no longer used to collecting unnecessary stuff!

10. Now in the contrast to the previous fact, we’re actually planning to build a cabin in the woods in the next few years. I can not wait to have a permanent place of my own in nature. A-frame Haus is a huge inspiration, btw! We both work from home, so there’s a lot of thinking involved into how we should fit two office areas into a tiny house, but I believe we’ll figure something out!
